Vintage 1970s Sterling Silver Bear Paw Earrings by Paquin family from Laguna Pueblo

These sterling silver earrings were made by Valentino Paquin from Laguna Pueblo in Northern New Mexico during the 1970s. They have a simple half moon shape stamped with a bear paw which is a symbol of strength and protection in Pueblo Indian culture. The back of both earrings are stamped with the artist's insignia and with "sterling."
