This darling set of wooden salt and pepper shakers was made in Japan during the 1950's. Painted with sweet faces, the caps are in the shape of chef hats on the top of each shaker, one reading "salty" the other reading "peppy". This set is in used condition with discoloration and several scuffs and scratches. They are both totally usable and have a shabby chic charm.
