This beautiful 1871 / 1872 First Edition of The New Years Bargain by Susan Collidge is a book of episodic stories told by the characters Max and Thekla. The book is in used antique condition with some wear, tears and cracks to the edges of the cloth cover, along with some tears and discoloration on the first few pages. The original owner's name is written on the title page and there are a couple of small tears to some inner pages, but mostly the pages are in good condition and the binding is solid.
