$14.00

This beautiful antique 1906 hardcover edition of Jane Cable by George Barr McCutcheon is a sweeping romance novel. It tells the story of a young woman adopted (unbeknown to the traveling railroad magnate husband who thinks she is his own) by Mrs. Cable who is then in turn blackmailed. Jane follows her love to the Philippines where he is serving in the army and becomes a Red Cross nurse and restores him to health after he is wounded. The book is in used antique condition with wear and fading to the edges of the cover, along with some spots of color loss to the illustrated portion.
