This beautiful antique 1909 hardcover edition of the Champion Spelling Book for Public and Private Schools by Warren E. Hicks is a classic children's school book from the early nineteen hundreds. It has a darling printed cover featuring a pair of kids reading on decorative bench framed by potted plants. The book is in used antique condition with some wear to the edges of the cover along with some discoloration from age. There is extensive scribbling inside the front and back cover as well as a clipped corner to the front end page. There is some staining to the front few and back few pages and well as a few inner pages with marks, but there are no torn inner pages, a solid binding and good overall color quality.
