This beautiful vintage 1938 hardcover edition of The World of Music - Song Programs For Youth: Adventure is the third volume in a series of music textbooks published by Ginn and Company in 1938, edited by Mabelle Glenn and others. This book, illustrated by the famous artist N. C. Wyeth, was part of a three-volume set (including "Treasure" and "Discovery") designed for youth singing programs. This "Adventure" volume contains numerous songs, including world folk songs, patriotic songs, and Christmas carols, along with music, lyrics, and an alphabetical index. This copy is in used vintage condition with the dust jacket missing and some minor wear and peeling to the edges of the cover. There are some marks to the front end pages and a faint water stain along the top center crease, as well as some peeling to the paper inside the back cover. There are a few small tears to some inner pages, but no marked pages and good overall color quality.
