This absolutely gorgeous vintage 1939 hardcover edition of Dhan of The Pearl Country was written by Phyllis Ayer Sowers and features illustrations by Margaret Ayer. It tells the story of a little boy named Dhan who lives in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) with his family. The book is in good used vintage condition with some light scratches and small stains to the front cover. It once belonged to a school library so there is a sticker inside the front cover and a checkout card inside the back cover. There are no torn or marked pages and excellent color quality.
