Yutang's "sense of history, joined with his spirit of eager inquiry, led him to watch for the old China along with the new". The book is in used condition with some tears to the edges of the dust jacket which is protected with a plastic sleeve and paper backing. There are no torn or marked pages and good overall color quality.
