This fascinating vintage 1946 hardcover edition of a Treasury of American Folklore features "the stories, legends, tall tales, traditions, ballads and songs of the American people". It was edited by B.A. Botkin and features a forward by Carl Sandburg. This copy is in used vintage condition with some small tears to the edges of the dust jacket (which is protected with a plastic cover). The dust jacket has been taped inside, and there is some discoloration from the tape, but there are no torn or marked pages and excellent overall color quality.
