Ellery Queen is a pseudonym created in 1928 by the American detective fiction writers Frederic Dannay and Manfred Bennington Lee. It is also the name of their main fictional detective, a mystery writer in New York City who helps his police inspector father solve baffling murder cases. Dannay and Lee wrote around forty novels and short story collections in which Ellery Queen appears as a character.
This copy is in used condition with some tear to the edges of the dust jacket as well as some discoloration to the front and back end pages, but no torn or marked pages and good overall color quality. The dust jacket is protected by a plastic sleeve that is also vintage, with some light scratching and scuffs.
