This charming vintage 1960 hardcover edition of Magic Carpet is a Treasury of Literature from the Readtext Series published by Charles E. Merrill Books. This anthology of children's stories and poems includes classic tales brought to life with darling illustrations. The book is in used vintage condition with wear and color loss to the edges of the cover, along with some waviness and staining from water damage to the cover and outer edge of the pages. There are a few marks of discoloration to the cover along with some stains and crinkles to the front few pages. The book belonged to a school library so it has some stamps inside the front and back cover. There are couple of pages with torn corners and spots of discoloration, but there are no large tears or marks, a solid binding and good overall color quality.
