This charming vintage 1962 edition of I Want To Be a Space Pilot by Carla Greene features illustrations by Donna Cieslak and was published by Children's Press in Chicago. The book tells the story of a little boy named Kip and his dream of becoming a space pilot. The book is in used vintage condition, it belonged to a school library to it has several stamps from the library throughout the book, as well as a checkout card attached inside the back cover. The cover does have some color loss and discoloration from age, along with some minor wear to the corners.
There is a tear with a taped portion on the frontispiece page and a few small stains and spots of discoloration on some inner pages, along with a little crinkling and a couple of creased corners. There are no large tears or missing pages and the illustrations have good color quality.
