This gorgeous vintage 1930's hardcover edition of The Adventures of Pinocchio, published by the John C. Winston company, was written by Carlo Collodi and features exquisite illustrations by Frederick Richardson. It is about the mischievous adventures of an animated marionette named Pinocchio. He faces many perils and temptations, meets characters who teach him about life, and learns goodness before he achieves his heart's desire to become a real boy. This copy is in used antique condition with the dust jacket missing and some wear to the edges of the cloth cover, along with color loss to the embossed title on the front. The original owner's name is written inside the cover and there is a stamp from a previous owner on the front end page. There is a small tear to the inside corner of a couple of pages, but there are no large tears or marked pages. The binding is solid and the book has good overall color quality.
