This fabulous vintage 1955 hardcover first edition of So Near and Yet So Far was written, and signed by the author, Emily Kimbrough. It tells the story of Miss Kimbrough's adventures traveling to New Orleans with forty girlfriends. The book is in good used condition with some small tears, wear and surface tears to the dust jacket (which is protected with a clear sleeve) as well as some minor discoloration to the front and back end pages, but no torn or marked inner pages and excellent overall color quality.
