This darling handmade cloth and wood figurine was made in Japan and depicts a "peasant" in traditional clothing. The figurine has lovely hand painted details on the face and uses vibrant cotton and silk fabric. The piece is in used condition with some of the fabric around the underskirt peeled off, and some fading to the calligraphy on the apron. There are also some paint chips to the feet and wooden base, but the piece has excellent overall color quality.
