This gorgeous vintage 1950's doll is a part of the Mascotes de Maria Helena doll collection of Portuguese folk dolls beloved by collectors and novices alike. The piece features a beautiful hand painted face and traditional costume made from felt and cotton. This gentleman is dressed like a Campino Cowboy from the Ribatejo region of Portugal. The doll is in good used condition with some minor pilling to the felt and a faint spot of discoloration to one of his cotton sleeves, but no tears or holes and excellent overall color quality.
