This beautiful vintage 1920's hardcover edition of The Thirteenth Orphan was written by Christine Chaundler and illustrated by Honor Appleton. This children's story is about a young girl who is sad and lonely until she discovers and befriends fairies - all brought to life with whimsical illustrations. This copy is in used vintage condition with the dust jacket missing and some wear and scuffs to the cloth cover. The original owner's name is written inside the cover and there are a few small spots of discoloration to some inner pages, but no marked or torn pages and good overall color quality.
